Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has emerged as football’s latest metrosexual pin-up, unashamed of his carefully waxed chest and near obsessive attention to tanning.

Beckham, 33, paved the way for fashion with a feminine touch with his famous 1998 sarong.
A decade on the LA Galaxy star is still working hard to maintain his metrosexual mantel with his latest primped and polished Armani ads.
But the Portuguese player, who is currently in LA recovering from ankle surgery, is not easily outdone.
Beckham’s fashion sense has been matched by the 23-year-old’s penchant for Wham!-inspired metallic hotpants, pink tees and heavily styled tresses.

He has said: ‘I’m quite sure of my feminine side, and I’ve not got a problem with that at all. These days it’s the norm, and it should be.’
Ronaldo’s extreme grooming regime does not seem to have affected his ability to attract women.
The star, who split from his model girlfriend Nereida Gallardo before going to LA, has been seen flirting with a series of bikini-clad ladies by the pool of his hotel.
